Fair Fashion Lab - space&matter
Concept - Design
Fair Fashion Lab is a temporary exhibition at the Humanity House in The Hague about the power of design, art and technology in the search of solutions to problems in the clothing industry. The white t-shirt, a very generic mass produced fashion item, is chosen as the central element in the exhibition’s design and it is abstracted, repeated, enlarged and turned into a temporary interface, which forms a fragile curtain made up of 660 secondhand t-shirts donated from all over the Netherlands. The curtain hides and reveals the stories of five artists, who raise questions about the status quo of the fashion industry and present ideas for a fairer future in the fashion industry.
